I'll be honest, while writing this bio, I had a moment of "is this really that important or even necessary?" But then I realized that at the end of the day, when you step in front of my lens I am asking you for unbridled vulnerability. Photography is intimate at it's core, so it's only fair that I give you authenticity on my side as well! I never want to feel like a stranger to my couples, because you are trusting me with some of the most important moments of your entire life.

So, with that being said- Hi there! My name is Haley Wilde and I am a California raised hopeless romantic and lover of all things spooky. I have an insatiable craving for gummy candy at any and all moments, and if I could have an Icee machine in my house I totally would. I am a natural creative with a knack for anything and everything artsy, but simultaneously so type A that it hurts. I'm an enthusiast of a good old fashioned birthday party, a confidently bad dancer, and a master at giving the perfect gift...

But most importantly, I am a photographer with a passion for capturing authentic love stories.

my "why"

As a kid, I was the one documenting everything. For as long as I can possibly remember I have had a camera in my hand, annoying anyone and everyone around me with my need to capture the moment. I'm the kind of person who can't pass up a photo booth, and I couldn't even possibly count the amount of photo strips I have in all of the memory boxes in my closet. Some people might call it overboard, but I cherish those memories more than anything. Until we figure out this whole time travel thing, photos are the closest that we are going to get. When I started taking my photography seriously, I realized what an absolute gift that I am able to provide those who step in front of my lens. “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. For my elementary school career day I went as a dog photographer

before wedding photography, i was a wedding planner for 3 years

Some people are really into astrology, I'm more of a sorting hat kind of gal. (If you know your Hogwarts House, feel free to include it in your inquiry- I would LOVE to know)

I have always dreamt of having a dachshund and she is everything I've ever hoped for. Truly the silliest little sausage.

That was always my dream job growing up... 10 year old Haley would probably be pretty disappointed that I chose people over puppies.

I worked as a senior coordinator with Jane Alexandra Events, and also worked as an event coordinator for the Santa Barbara Zoo! Even though I ended up on this side of things, I absolutely love having that background. I know weddings like the back of my hand at this point and I can share that knowledge with my brides!

I did theatre middle through high school, and I’m still a bit of a musical theatre nerd. Okay, maybe a big one- sue me. My favorite musicals include The Last Five Years, Heathers, and Dear Evan Hansen.

During the month of October you can find me doing allll of the crazy haunted houses- the more extreme the better!
